EXPANDED CRIMINAL HISTORY PROCEDURE

Due to the changes in State Law to go into effect on July 1, 2009, the following is recommended as the procedure to follow for future employees of Vigo County Schools. The check should be run when the employee is given reasonable assurance of employment.

For Vigo County the D.A.T. agency will conduct fingerprint checking using the L-1 system (ISP and FBI)

You must make an appointment and it must be submitted online at https://in.ibtfingerprint.com/.

At this web-site you will complete the application and then be able to view the schedule and make an appointment. You will be informed of the cost for this service when your appointment is scheduled. The facility that you will go to for the fingerprinting process is located behind Honey Creek Square Mall. **YOU MUST COMPLETE THE APPOINTMENT PROCESS PRIOR TO THE FINGERPRINTING PROCESS! DO NOT GO TO THE FACILITY THAT PEFORMS THE FINGERPRINTS UNTIL YOU HAVE MADE THE APPOINTMENT ONLINE!**
